Limit Selfies
“Selfies” and “Wefies” are all good if you’re using it on social media or your blog, but keep your professional photographs to your website or modeling portfolios. Having too many selfies on your website or portfolio makes it seem like you don’t want to spend any time or money on getting “real” photos taken, which in turn makes it look like you’re not serious about modeling. As to every rule, there are exceptions to this rule: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Remember that posting a picture of yourself at a local event will gain you a lot more exposure and you might just meet some of those more popular models you’ve been following.
